Ingredients for Apple Layer
2 handfuls of nuts – minced
1 heaped tablespoon butter
2 – 2.5 tablespoons of brown sugar
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Ingredients for Custard
1 liter milk
½ cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons of wheat starch
2 tablespoons flour
1 egg yolk
1 packet of vanilla
1 tablespoon butter
For apple layer
Put the hazelnuts you chopped in a pan and fry.
When the hazelnuts are roasted, add the apples you chopped into small cubes and continue roasting.
When the apples turn light, add butter and brown sugar and mix.
When the apple is slightly caramelized, cover the fire and add the cinnamon powder and mix.
Remove on a plate to cool.
Put milk, granulated sugar, starch, flour and yolk in a saucepan and mix.
Then put it in the stove and cook, stirring over medium heat.
When your pudding has consistency, remove it from the fire, add vanilla and butter in it and mix.
Put 1 tablespoon of apple mortar on the bottom of the containers you will serve.
Divide your custard into containers you will serve and cool your custard.
Serve the top of your cool custard by putting it in apple mortar.
